BREAKING THE CYCLE Losing weight brings with it many important benefits including more energy, increased self esteem, reduced risk and better control of many illnesses including diabetes, sleep apnoea, elevated cholesterol and high blood pressure. The programme aims to help people realise these gains by breaking the cycle of the so called dieting bus, where people find themselves stepping off one diet before getting on to the next. In part this is achieved by reprogramming the mind and rebuilding a positive attitude towards food. Time and time again I see how people reduce food to calories, points or fat content and this often results in an unhealthy or unnatural relationship with food and drink. Given that we are surrounded by food on a daily basis this can become quite stressful. THE PROGRAMME This three step programme is designed to revolutionise the way in which you look at your weight and your health. Programme includes: Stage 1 – The Basics Includes: Health Assessment - monitoring of body fat - monitoring of hydration - blood pressure check Famous five intolerance test Nutritional pack sent in the post Back up support via email/telephone until next consultation Stage 2 – Minding Your Emotions Includes: Specialised process called the Journey to get to the root of what is driving your weight problem Back up support via email/telephone until next consultation Stage 3 – Your New Future Includes: Enhancing behaviour change Integration of success strategies Review of how to maintain improvements Back up support via email/telephone until next consultation NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE Nutritional recommendations will be monitored throughout and together we will find those areas you excel at and those which could use a little more support. FOOD INTOLERANCES/ALLERGIES Intolerances can make weight loss difficult as well as impact on energy levels and mood so common foods will be tested to see if you react to them. UNDERLYING EMOTIONAL REASONS Emotions often play a role in relation to weight loss problems and can sabotage a persons ability to maintain improvements when they are achieved. The Journey Process and Results Coaching are powerful methods to help individuals resolve these emotions by stopping them from being uncontrollable triggers. INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION You are seen individually for each stage of the programme giving you the privacy to discuss any specific problems. This also allows me the opportunity to give you my full attention and tailor the tools used specifically to suit you.
